In common speech is still called the Pincio the part of Villa Borghese within the Aurelian Walls, Piazza del Popolo and Villa Medici. The Pincio is the first public garden in Rome, commissioned by Napoleon, and among the historical walks is perhaps most beloved by Romans.
In several cities of Italy, the public geometric garden with a terrace and a sightseeing on the city itself, is called the Pincio as well.
